FranchiseBlast technology will help Best Life Brands leaders empower franchisees

For Immediate Release: BusinessWire

Toronto, ON: FranchiseBlast, a complete franchise management solution, was recently selected by Best Life Brands, a multi-brand organization that includes ComForCare Home Care, At Your Side Home Care, CarePatrol and Blue Moon Estate Sales.

Best Life Brands will use FranchiseBlast’s mobile technology for coaching and planning tools, allowing the entire network to benefit from a greater emphasis on unit level economics. This means a focus on franchisee performance from both a top-line revenue perspective, and a bottom-line profitability standpoint.

“Forward-thinking franchisors want their field teams to be coaches, not cops,” said Jason Kealey, President and Co-Founder of FranchiseBlast. “Collaboration is the name of the game in 2020 and going forward.”

FranchiseBlast’s collaboration and planning tools are accessible via mobile device, and address a major pain-point across the franchising community. Best Life Brands believes this will create a nurturing environment for their franchisees and will foster healthy growth.

“Collaboration between franchisor and franchisees matter,” says Sean Kajcienski, CRO and COO of Best Life Brands. “These tools will help us create business plans together with the franchisees, and work collaboratively every step of the way.”

Best Life Brands will roll out the technology in early 2020.

We’re looking forward to duplicating our most highly successful onboarding procedures for new franchisees as they enter the system.”

It is exciting times for Ballard Brands, as franchising brands dramatically expand their existing footprint. Although growth is fantastic, naturally that also comes with challenges. Managing the scaling effort is what the Executive team at Ballard Brands is focusing on with this investment.

“Putting mobile tools in the hands of field auditors will help them leverage the processes provided by head office,” said Dean Hatzitheodosiou, Sr. Business Development Director of FranchiseBlast with a strong track record of supporting companies through growth. “Benchmarking tools also utilizes the natural spirit of competition among franchisees and helps set everyone up for success.”

Benchmarking reports, measuring top strengths and top locations, for example, helps identify and encourage top performers. Top weaknesses, help drive coaching and training initiatives so that they are evidence-based, rather than improvised.

“FranchiseBlast will be a great partner for us,” said DiPaola. “They use technology to operationalize the processes that we have great confidence in.”

Ballard Brands signed with FranchiseBlast on September 26, 2019 and plans to roll out the technology in subsequent months. FranchiseBlast’s experience with the specialized needs of brand aggregators helped differentiate them from other solutions on the market.

USDA-Certified Organic Juice Bar Partners with FranchiseBlast Mobile Technology to Drive Brand Experience and Quality Processes

By | Press Release, Restaurants

Clean Juice leads the way in delivering healthy fast with a smile.

For Immediate Release: PRWeb.

Clean Juice, the first and only USDA-certified organic juice bar franchise with more than 55 stores in the U.S., has partnered with FranchiseBlast to help deliver, measure and ensure a high-quality guest experience at each store.

By utilizing FranchiseBlast’s powerful software and performance tools, Clean Juice will be able to audit its stores more effectively and ensure the same quality processes it uses for its CCOF and USDA-organic certifications will be used in delivering an unparalleled guest experience that drives results systemwide. FranchiseBlast is set to roll out across Clean Juice’s locations in early February.

“Being the only certified organic concept is what makes us unique,” said Landon Eckles, co-founder of Clean Juice with spouse Kat. “But it’s our brand experience – delivered with speed, a smile and a servant’s heart – that sets us apart in creating our community of loyal guests. This partnership with FranchiseBlast will help us reach a level of excellence we expect.”

While the concept of juicing has been around since the 1970s, the Eckles discovered a market need for an all-organic juice bar and healthier fast food options, especially for young families with children. With no existing concept, they created their own store in Charlotte, North Carolina that ultimately led to franchising and an unrelenting mission to provide communities with a truly healthy and delicious organic product. Earlier this year, the franchise announced the opening of its 50th store and more than 70 in development. It expects to exit the year with more than 100 stores in less than 3 years.

The performance package from FranchiseBlast will also assist the fast-growing company with their store openings. The mobile-friendly app will help them ensure that their brand experience is uniform across all location in accordance with its aggressive development schedule and it will help their associates monitor important key performance indicators and ratios.

“Having a strong brand experience is what keeps customers coming back,” said Dean Hatzitheodosiou, Sr. Business Development Director of FranchiseBlast with a track record of helping companies experience fast growth. “Strong customer retention will help grow both the stores, and the franchise concept itself.”

Brand experience is more than just logo and colors. Clean Juice will also use the stores to monitor important elements such as ensuring:

  • “Juiceristas” (store associates) educate customers on the product and its health benefits
  • Guests get a genuine, personal “connection” when they enter and throughout their experience
  • Product is arranged in an engaging manner with most popular items at eye-level and the retail space is warm, friendly and well-designed

Other important factors for the company that will be consistently monitored include cleanliness, freshness and food-safety, as well as branding.

Clean Juice continues its rapid ascension as the country’s first and only USDA-certified organic juice bar after recently announcing the opening of its 50th store in East Nashville, Tennessee earlier this year. The company has another 70 stores in development and expects to exit 2019 with more than 100 stores operating. For franchising opportunities, please visit: http://www.cleanjuicefranchising.com.

By | Press Release, Spa and Salon

For Immediate Release: PRWeb

November 1st, 2018, Toronto: Sometimes a haircut is more than just a haircut — it’s an experience – one that will now be bolstered by technology. Tommy Gun’s, a family-owned upscale chain of barber shops offering a 1930s aesthetic is employing mobile-friendly technology with human-centered workflows to further enhance their business model.

Supported by FranchiseBlast’s Performance Tools, Tommy Gun’s is enhancing its ability to track the metrics of success that each location relies on to thrive. FranchiseBlast, an Ottawa-based technology firm, provides a comprehensive suite of tools for franchises looking to streamline their field coaching processes. With this in their arsenal, the franchisor not only ensures operational compliance but also coaches franchisees to improve their performance.

The solution also allows Tommy Gun’s to aggregate data from Voice of the Customer tool, Listen360, Google Reviews and their point of sale into one convenient location for easy analysis. By incorporating these tools, Tommy Gun’s is looking for point-and-shoot efficiency on the business side, so they can spend even more time on their legendary customer service.

“We pride ourselves on providing a uniquely high level of customer service,” says Darcy Curtis, Director of Barbershop Operations at Tommy Gun’s. “By making the business management side easier and quicker, we can focus on the thing that matters most — giving our customers an exceptional barbershop experience!”

Through the aggregation of data, franchisee coaches are spared the lengthy and monotonous task of copy and pasting data into folders. FranchiseBlast’s Performance Tools saves them time so they can spend more time connecting with individual franchisees.

“A franchisee coach’s time is much better spent actually talking to people, rather than punching in numbers and copy and pasting,” Jason Kealey, President of FranchiseBlast, said. “Our tools make these processes more efficient, so coaches can get back to doing what they do best. Additionally, franchisees gain access to benchmarked data, guiding them on improving their individual weaknesses compared to the franchise as a group.”

By | News, Press Release, Restaurants

For Immediate Release: BusinessWire

Quality is king in 2018 and Recipe Unlimited (formerly CARA Operations) continues to make meaningful investments in technology to strengthen its top spot in the Canadian marketplace. While Recipe’s brands such as Swiss Chalet and Harvey’s are leading the Canadian restaurant scene, to maintain that competitive edge technology is key.

FranchiseBlast’s Brand Consistency solution was selected by Recipe to help them reinforce their #1 position as Canada’s largest full-service restaurant company. Recipe both franchises and operates restaurant brands including Harvey’s, Swiss Chalet, Kelsey’s, East Side Mario’s, Montana’s, Milestones, Prime Pubs, Casey’s, Bier Markt, and Landing restaurants.

The Gatineau-based technology firm helps franchisors create consistent operations on their audits, where a coach runs a high-tech checklist of compliance items such as food safety, quality, service and more. It offers immediate, actionable insights for both franchisors and franchisees, and even creates leaderboards so brands can celebrate their operational superstars.

“I see a quiet but meaningful revolution taking place in the restaurant industry.” says Jason Kealey, President of FranchiseBlast. “Good is no longer sufficient. Operational excellence is key to winning and retaining today’s customer; even leading restaurant brands are looking for that competitive edge with brand consistency – that is what our software is all about.”

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – PR Web

Nonprofit Endeavors work with FranchiseBlast to enhance mission of service

Long-standing national nonprofit Endeavors chose FranchiseBlast to help them maintain quality service for the groups they serve across multiple states and Puerto Rico. Moving from pencil and paper to a digital solution positions Endeavors to provide consistent services across offices while preserving a lower overhead.

“Our goal at Endeavors is to provide key services that empower people to build better lives for themselves, their families, and their communities,” explains Travis Pearson, CEO and President of Endeavors, based in San Antonio, TX. “Using FranchiseBlast will assist us in providing a consistent experience across all of our offices and all of our services.”

“When we looked at Endeavors, they were a non-traditional fit for us,” said Dean Hatzitheodosiou, Sr. Sales Director at FranchiseBlast. “But as we explored it further, they actually have the same needs as the thousands of franchise locations that we already work with.”

As one of their services, Endeavors provides support to veterans who are in housing crisis. Using the high-tech “smart” checklists from FranchiseBlast, they can ensure that Veterans have high-quality services; additionally, that experience is the same regardless of which office they go to for assistance.

“Endeavors is a non-profit that sees value in quality control,” said Hatzitheodosiou. “That makes them a perfect fit for FranchiseBlast.” Franchising, as a community, has many non-profit ties, including Franchising Gives Back run by the International Franchise Association. FranchiseBlast has participated in these events since 2016, most recently in Phoenix.
